If It's Not Listed, It's Covered.
Pets Best plans cover so much, it's easier to tell you what we don't cover rather than what we do cover—if it's not excluded by your policy, it's covered.
So what's not covered? As with any insurance plan, we aren't able to cover every pet expense that comes up. To help you make an informed decision, we have put together an explanation of What's Not Covered and put our policy online for you to read.
(Don't you think all pet insurance should be this easy to understand?)
How About Non-Traditional Treatments?
Chiropractic Therapy – Pets Best policy holders enjoy benefits for chiropractic treatments when they are administered by a licensed veterinarian. Benefits may be limited; ask a Pets Best representative for details.
Acupuncture – The Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association has published a study that showed epileptic dogs treated with acupuncture needed less medication to control their seizures. If your licensed veterinarian administers this treatment for epilepsy or other ailments, it's covered. A Pets Best representative can tell you about possible limitations.
