Your pets’ health and well being is our profession, and they are as important to us as they are to you and your family.  It is our obligation to inform you of their health needs.  Here is a list of the things we at Montezuma Veterinary Clinic feel are important to their health and well being.

Cats Need

1. Vaccination series starting at 6-8 weeks
2. Rabies vaccination at 4 months (16 weeks)
3. Spay/Neuter at 6 months
4. Flea/tick/parasite protection
5. Feline leukemia/FIV test and vaccinate for outdoor cats
6. Yearly health/ wellness exam, booster vaccinations as needed
7. Good quality cat food (we recommend i-Vet Professional Formula)
8. Fresh water daily
9. Protection from weather
10. Geriatric program after 7 years of age
11. Feline Infectious Peritonitis testing and vaccinations when appropriate
12. Routine Dental Care

Dogs Need

1. Vaccination series starting at 6-8 weeks
2. Rabies vaccine at 4 months (16 weeks)
3. Spay/Neuter at 6 months
4. Yearly wellness exam
5. Heartworm test/Heartworm prevention
6. Flea/tick/parasite protection
7. Good quality dog food (we recommend i-Vet Professional Formula)
8. Fresh water daily
9. Protection from weather
10. Geriatric program after 7 years of age
11. Routine dental care
