Wellness exams - a physical exam is performed with consultations on proper vaccination protocols, feeding, de-worming programs, and dental procedures to help prevent problems for your horse.  Available vaccines include; Eastern and Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Influenza, Rhinopneumonitis, West Nile, and Rabies.

Sickness exams - we offer a complete array of laboratory analysis to help determine your animals' illness. We also are equipped to provide intravenous fluid therapy to dehydrated animals.

Purchase examinations - extensive physical exam and lameness evaluation to give you as many facts as possible about the health and soundness of the horse you are preparing to purchase. This exam often includes laboratory analysis, radiographs, and the use of ultrasound.

Lameness exams - evaluations include the use of hoof testers, flexion tests, nerve and joint blocks, radiography, and ultrasound.

Reproductive procedures - breeding soundness exams supported by ultrasound and rectal examination. We offer artificial insemination using shipped cooled semen. We offer uterine flushing as a routine procedure, uterine biopsy, culture, and cytology evaluation.

Surgery - our facilities provide us with the option of performing several minor surgeries on the standing horse, eliminating the need for general anesthetics.  We also have the ability to use general anesthetics on more involved surgeries.  We have had excellent results with our methods of repairing heel bulb lacerations.  We are unable to do colic surgeries at our facility at this time.

Emergencies - we only provide limited after-hour emergency service that includes services provided in the clinic as well as our ambulatory trucks so that we can come to your farm when needed.  Please make sure you consult with our doctor during your annual wellness appointment to ensure you have an up-to-date first aid kit to manage minor emergencies at home.

Specialized Procedures:

Ultrasonography - uses sound waves to evaluate soft tissues like tendons and ligaments, reproductive organs, lumps, tumors. It is painless and non-invasive.

Radiography - uses x-rays to visualize bone for abnormalities including arthritic changes and fractures. We have portable machines capable of imaging heads, stifles, limbs and necks.

Cryosurgery - device used to freeze tissues using liquid Nitrogen. Offers a way to remove tumors that would be otherwise difficult to excise or where it is contraindicated to excise them.
